Runs twice a day from Wendling through Scarning, past the school, through Drayton Hall Estate and into the Market Place in Dereham
Route Number 8
Runs every half hour from Dereham Market Place directly to Norwich Bus station and Railway station

Route X1: Peterborough to Norwich

The frequency of the western half of the route from Peterborough to Norwich is every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday, with an hourly service in the evenings and on Sundays and Public Holidays. The X1 operates via Scarning (Chestnut Road and Scarning Church) and Wendling (Station Road). Owing to customer feedback we have added new stops at Cromwell Road Tesco in Wisbech and Bawburgh Road in Easton, as well as Tesco in Castle Acre Road, Swaffham.

Dereham Recycling Centre

The local site can be accessed from Yaxham Road [near Roy's]. It provides a range of recycling and reuse services to householders including green garden waste and old electrical items, there is a place for paint disposal and a Pay As You Throw service for DIY waste and other restricted items. The site is open seven days a week all year, except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and News Year's day.

Bishop Bonner's Cottage Museum

Church Street, Dereham

This delightful cottage, dating from 1502 is the oldest domestic building in the market town of Dereham. It houses displays of Dereham's local history and the archaeology of the surrounding area, in the Breckland region of central Norfolk.

The Museum will be reopening 0n 7th May 2016 with new displays.
